Prime Time Art Auction

A good cause will be served when the White Gallery hosts a silent auction of 30 pieces of art donated by local artists Saturday from 5-7PM. The sale will benefit Prime time House in Torrington, a community-based organization that assists more than 300 area residents suffering from mental illness.

Prime Time House is dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental illness and offering opportunities towards recovery.

This year's works are provided by such well-known artists as Jenifer Allain, Zelina Blagden, Janet Andre Block, Shayna Blumert, Madeline Falk, John Funt, Ben Gerardo, Joan Jardine, Mary Harvey, Sallie Ketchum, Mark Liebergall, Danielle Mailer, Alan McCord, Sam Messer, Joan Morosani, Patty Mullins, Geoffrey Parker, Robert Parker, Chris Pollack, Warren Prindle, Lily Rand, Susan Rand, Marjory Reid, Jon Reiderman, Turi Rostad, Dotty Smith, Kate Stiassni, Diane Stoner, Tamar Taylor, Susan Wakeen, Lilly Woodworth.

The show is curated by Turi Rostad of Norfolk.

White Gallery, located at 342 Main Street in Lakeville, is owned by Tino and Susan Galluzzo, long-standing supporters of Prime Time House, who donated the use of their gallery for the festive event. Hors d’oeuvres have been donated by The Interlaken Inn, Flawless Catering & Event Planning and several other eateries.

There will be a full bar with wines donated by Salisbury Wines and beer donated by The White Hart, while Harney & Sons Iced Teas will be provided by Harney & Sons Teas.
